How do Panasonic Toughpad and Panasonic TOUGHBOOK differ?

     Panasonic TOUGHBOOK are both registered Panasonic Corporation trademarks.

     Panasonic Toughpad was launched in 2012 when FZ-A1 became highly important when tablets became a form factor.

     Panasonic has gained experience in building the Toughbook line with the release of this first Toughpad. Toughpad variants were, as opposed to normal tablets, genuinely robust mobile devices with outdoor, viewable displays, water, and dust protection, and drop and shock resistance.

One of the brightest we've ever seen is the Panasonic Toughpad display. The tablet scored an average of 820 lux on our light metre, much brighter than the Xplore M2's 1024 x 768 resistive 597 lux display, and more than double the 329 lux Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T and the tablet average of 366. With the brightness turned up, the digital display was easily viewable by the bright sun. We navigated the Windows 8 interface without any problems as we read the short text on every tile. In news items, even with the sun on the screen, the text was sharp and sharp.
